Well blogger fam, it's been awhile since I've last updated my blog. A lot has happened since April 2008...I got married! We got married on August 16, 2008 and we are loving every minute together that life has to offer.

We purchased our first home, well townhome, of which we got to choose all of the important things we wanted in it. Now, I must say, it's not our dream home but who moves into their "DREAM" home when they're 27 yrs old?! I know what you're thinking, "she's not 27"...well no, I'm not. I'm 28, but when we moved in, I still had exactly 18 days left to enjoy being 27. So, there you have it. Anyway, we're loving the fact that we are homeowners and that we're not "throwing" our money away on rent!

In addition to getting married and buying a home, I also graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing this past December.  I just started Graduate school this January, and as of right now, I'm not enjoying one-single minute of it! How 'bout that! 

I'm sure, like most people, you're wondering when we're going have some kiddos.  Well...let me just say (hint: brutally honest) that I'm too selfish to have children of my own at this point in my life. I love buying what I want, when I want it. I love getting a new car every year or two. I love sleeping in. I love going on vacations when we want and I'm enjoying life as a wife right now.  So in the mean time, I'll let my friends have all of the cute, crying, booger-ish, adorable, wake-up-every-few-hours-because I'm hungry, can't sleep in babies that they want and I'll enjoy seeing them and carrying them for a little while.  Don't get me wrong, I love kids; hence, the reason why I'm pediatric nurse. I think that in about 3, 4, or 5 years we might consider it! Besides, I have 3 step-kiddos, and well they're enough for now.

 Well the photos are a perfect display of what has been going on for the past 2 years! Check back often, because I'm definitely going to try and keep up with this thing (at least weekly), so that maybe someday when we do decide to have kids they can have fun reading about all of the things their parents did for fun before they came into this world! We all wonder how our parents were before they had us, right?! Enjoy!

It's official we're getting married! This was what Jeff suprised me with when I came home from class last night! It was so sweet!

New Years 2008

We didn't do much this New Years Eve. We had a very low key evening with Sarah and Michael. We went and ate at a nice restaurant, drank, and played games to bring in the New Year.

Christmas 2007

This Christmas was a good Christmas. It didn't seem quite the same without grandma there to criticize everyone, that's one of the reasons why I loved her! She just said exactly what she was thinking! We all decided to have Christmas at her house this year just like we used to, for about as far back as I can remember! I remember waking up at midnight to open gifts at grandma's house. Then we would eat and talk for hours. It was a bitter sweet night. We missed her but we know she would have wanted us to keep going on and enjoy Christmas like we always had.

Christmas Party 2006

This was taken at Jeff's Christmas Party that his employer had for all for their companies! The theme was something like Casino Night! We played blackjack and let me just say I was having a streak of beginner's luck! It's too bad we weren't playing for real money!

The Beginning
