Fall Family Photo Outfit Ideas

Wednesday, October 14, 2020

Fall is here and, as former photographer, I know how busy this season is with fall family photos. It's a photographers busiest season. Every year our family has taken fall photos. We've probably gone thru most popular color schemes when it comes to family photos, so I just have to get creative and add a different pop of color here and there and make sure that I don't use the same colors as the year prior. On IG several people asked to see what my inspiration was for this year and well here it is.

Several years ago we wore blue, so this year I incorporated green and white with blue. Since most of the things I purchase for these photos are only worn once or twice, I don't like spending a ton of money on things so I always try to buy them on sale when I can, but let's be honest I'm such a procrastinator that if I can't find it for cheap or on sale I just buy what I like since I don't have much time between buying and the time we take our photos. All these years and I still don't plan in advance. Can't change this mama!
Here are the deets on where I got all of the things we wore for our pictures this year.

Welcome to the World

Wednesday, June 17, 2020
Last week we welcomed our little guy into the world.
Last picture of my bump. I had a scheduled c-section due to placenta previa and had to be at the hospital by 6:30am for labs, paperwork, and an IV. My mom stayed at home with Mason and took great care of him while we were gone.
They rolled me back by 9:00am and by 9:56am we had a perfectly healthy baby boy. I'll tell you, the best sound you'll ever hear is your baby's first cry because it means he/she is breathing. It's always at that moment that you're holding your own breath waiting for your baby to breathe. They pulled down one of the drapes and showed him to me thru the clear drape and they took him to my husband.
Much like my first c-section, I had a lot of blood loss. This time I actually had to have a transfusion because I lost so much. My blood levels were already low going into the c-section, so it was a risk.
My husband did not go in the operating room with me, because last time he almost passed out, so I told him he should wait in the postpartum room where he waited for Judah.
Proud daddy!
After a 2 day stay we were able to go home. This recovery has been a lot easier than my first c-section. Brother was so excited to see his little brother. I was sad that he couldn't go to the hospital to see him sooner, but we were able to FaceTime him and he was able to see his brother right away.
Meeting for the first time.
Feeding his brother.
So happy!
We are all so in love with this little guy and we are so blessed to be able to call him ours.

MOMENTS TO REMEMBER THIS WEEK:
We get to have a baby in 3 days. Took my last bump picture. I had to get a steroid shot x2 this week and a Covid test prior to having a schedule c-section. The steroid shots are for baby's lungs since he will be born at 36 weeks. Just getting all of our appointments in place, things set up, and waiting for my mom to fly in. I'm a little nervous to have a baby at 36 weeks, but I'm also ready to meet this little guy.
